Nine complete strangers of different nationalities, ages, religions, interests and desires come together on the pilgrimage route of St. James through Spain. They start their journey in different countries and came to walk a distance of some 800 km over three snow-covered mountains to arrive in Santiago de Compostela in the spring.

Franko comes from a family of musicians but cannot play an instrument to save his life. So, he decides to be a serious DJ with a respectable funk music record collection. He goes on a quest to find a very special record. It proves to be a challenge that takes him on an adventure through several countries, he meets a number of peculiar characters, discovers unexpected sounds and transforms into a seasoned connoisseur.
